The Carolina Philharmonic, located in Pinehurst, has grown into one of the leading orchestras in North Carolina.  In addition to performances, the Carolina Philharmonic also provides a Junior Orchestra program which serves over 100 local youth.    Other local performing arts venues and programs include:

• North Carolina Symphony performances six times a year.

For history buffs, the Tufts Archives, located in the Given Memorial Library, is a museum and archives in one that contains historical images, documents, and memorabilia dating back to 1895 when the Village of Pinehurst was founded.

The Village of Pinehurst Parks & Recreation Department sponsors multiple cultural events each year, including:

• The popular Live after Five concerts, which are held four times a year. 

• Hometown parades for 4th of July and St. Patrick’s Day.

• Oktoberfest.
